I remember it getting higher review scores than the first at the time. Idk why I never got around to playing it.

Also would be extremely bizarre for them to just port the first game lol

 

Wasn't the first one a Wii game and the second one a 360/PS3 game? I could be wrong. It's all a blur now.

 

no the second one was on Wii also. Then they later ported the first one to PS3 but not the second. It stayed a Wii exclusive.

 

Lol oh yeah that’s right, that’s what I was thinking of, the port of the first one wasn’t as good some said because of the lack of motion controls

 

A problem with their lack of virtual store or backwards compatibility is the fact that they aren't taking advantage of/releasing any of the older games of franchises like Metroid and No More Heroes. Such a bizarre choice.

 

I partly let it slide because at least they innovate in the hardware space

 

Was kinda strange that TMS was supposed to be a SMT spin off but it ended up way more Persona like lol

 

It’s so sad that that game flopped and then flopped again on a hugely successful console

 

I need to do my part and buy a copy of TMS

 

If they'd marketed as a Persona spin off it would have done so much better. Well any marketing at all on Switch would have helped lol

 

Kind of a miracle that that port happened because apparently nobody involved cares lol

 

There’s a list for what may be covered during a rumored direct or mini direct. A coworker showed me yesterday, but he said it was from 4chan(?) and to take it with a grain of salt.

 

Everyone should just stop waiting for a Direct or any announcements of any kind from Nintendo tbh. It's been almost a year since the last full Direct. They clearly don't care about keeping us informed. If they're fine with ceding all of the oxygen in the room to Sony and Microsoft that's their annoying and dumb decision to make. Forget about Nintendo and pay attention to the ones actually keeping a relatively steady stream of information flowing. That's what Nintendo suggests we do, clearly.

 

I mean, it hasn't affected their sales at all considering Switches can't stay stocked lol

 

They’re very likely not announcing release dates because they don’t know. They will.

 

Why does it even matter

 

It doesn’t. But a game when it comes out, or later, or don’t. That’s all there is to it.

 

Yeah, people keep buying Switches right now to play the back catalog of previously released games. Imagine if Nintendo would just say what’s coming out this fall and would try to influence people into buying a switch this fall instead of a PS5 or Xbox.

If you’re not a animal crossing fan there has not been a huge game released or announced since November. I haven’t bought a newly released game since Luigi’s Mansion 3 (aside from AC which I ended up selling and only bought because there was literally no other game being released or announced for the foreseeable future)

 

Provided they can put enough Switches out to meet the fall demand, which it seems like they can’t

They can release whatever they can when it comes to number of consoles, but they need to release games.

 

Sure, but games have been coming out (Papwr Mario literally just came out) and will come out, they’re just not telling us when right now, which really isn’t the problem people make it out to be. You guys are acting like there won’t be any games anymore just because there isn’t a Direct right now lol
