I’m finally going to play Ring Fit Adventure today. Buddy of mine and I are challenging one another and starting it together though we live 400 miles apart.

That's a really good idea. It's so hard for me to exercise or at least start doing it without the aid of someone else keeping me to a schedule or something.

I bought a copy off of @SmithBerryCrunch and then I got another one off of Game Stop and sent it to my buddy as a Father’s Day gift. He wasn’t expecting it but it was my way of encouraging both of us to get rid of our dad bods. Haha

Oh I forgot about that! I am curious how it is, you'll have to let me know. I got tired of Animal Crossing really fast...but I still get hooked on Stardew Valley every other week or so, for long session at a time. I wonder if Friends of Mineral Town would scratch that itch better than Animal Crossing did...

Well, Animal Crossing is nothing like those two games...

What you'd want is Rune Factory 4 Special which they released for the Switch. Better than the remake of Friends of Mineral town, has both the farming and rpg elements and fishing and crafting, etc.

Scored a Ring Fit Adventure yesterday! GameStop had 2 in stock. Stoked! It’s a really cool experience.

Wow, the forging in DQ11 is an interesting mechanic I've never seen before, very cool

I just finished what I presume to be the end of Act 1 last night in DQ11. They really upped the graphics in that cutscene compared to the others.

I hear there was another entry in the series that also had a good crafting system. I wish I could remember which one, but I'm very interested to see it.

IX maybe? That's the only one I've ever finished. It had a pretty intense crafting system but I barely touched it tbh

This looks like it might be fun, tactical RPG that takes place in an alternate timeline during the French Revolution. Comes out next month.

Yeah Napoleon's younger sister! I thought it was just a dumb name but it really is her name. Similarities stop there, however. But they also have Robespierre and Marquis de Lafayette. Looks pretty fun.

Reminds me a bit of Jeanne d'Arc for PSP.
