what do you think is the reason Nintendo hasn't introduced any sort of rating/recommendation system to the eShop in it's 3 years?

like, it would be nothing but beneficial to have a "recommended" tab with stuff like "4 people on your friends list are playing this game!" or "based on games in your library, here's a title we think you'll like!"
and then also some sort of ratings, either stars or thumbs up, to sort through the fucking shovelware clogging up the store making it hard to know what's quality (and they can make it so you can only rate if you've actually bought the game to prevent review bombing)

like, i really don't know why they haven't done these, i can't think of any downsides

 

I think the store is very slapped together and they’re afraid that it all collapses lol

 

Didn't this game use two screens and touch controls?

 

TWEWY was one of my fave DS games and the Switch version was so bad

 

Yeah and it got a compromised mobile port and a (maybe prettier) version of the latter is now on Switch

 

yea i’d recommend the 3DS version over Switch, purely based on what I’ve read.

i only played it on 3DS

Never played the Switch version but the TWEWY was a top ten DS game of all time, maybe top five.

 

I played it pretty recently and it holds up pretty well too. It’s definitely unique.

 

The controls on Switch were so bad

 

They should have made button controls

Why? They added a joycon motion control and co-op. Button controls just don't make sense for the game.

 

Yeah but the motion controls suck and the original had a button/touch combination which this one does not have

 

Honestly it looked cool but I wasn't interested in it because I'm not a fan of touch controls

 

The motion controls are not that bad.

 

CrossCode looks really cool

 

THINGS CAN'T BECOME CLASSICS WITHOUT TIME PASSING TO LOOK AT IT RETROSPECTIVELY AND CRITICALLY

 

ALSO CLASSIC IMPLIES IT HAS SOME SORT OF CULTURAL IMPACT AND NO ONE HAS PLAYED THIS GAME
