A larger Mario collection would be a nice thing to have. Other than Super Mario All-Stars, they have never really done anything like it before, and it is pretty crazy that you cannot play Super Mario Sunshine at all on either the Wii U or 3DS. More broadly, collections for the bigger Nintendo franchises (Zelda, Donkey Kong, Metroid) would sell well. It is an annoying task to try and play all these games legally, given how Nintendo keeps games on different platforms and the lack of major games like Majora's Mask or Star Fox 64 on the Virtual Console.

I have money I want to give Nintendo and they have a hard time even making it possible.

    This.

I get they wanna be innovative and try new things, but imagine the fucking buzz, hype and sales if they just released these collections, or a bunch of HD renders for some of their all-time classics. And the lack of big hit titles on Virtual Console is such a ball breaker sometimes.

That being said, when they release a core title, it pretty much makes up for all of this, haha.

Anybody else feel totally indifferent about Paper Mario: Color Splash? It feels legitimately awful that a new Paper Mario is launching on Friday and I have no desire whatsoever to play it.

I really, really disliked Sticker Star, so when I heard this game was going to essentially be a spiritual sequel to that game I instantly wrote it off. No RPG mechanics makes battles into totally pointless wastes of time, needing finite resources to perform attacks is asinine, having courses instead of an interconnected world is boring, and not having partner characters excises one of the reasons why the first twoPaper Mario games are all-time classics (The Thousand-Year Door is in my personal Top 10 Favorite Games of All Time).

At least we still have the Mario & Luigi series. Paper Jam, from earlier this year, was pretty good.

Heard sticker star was trash, so I'm not really to confident in this new one given it takes so much from it/is basically a sequel. Which sucks because with the original + thousand year door, Mario RPG, and most of the Mario & Luigi games we know Nintendo can make an awesome RPG Mario game. Idk how they dropped the ball so much with paper mario

Very excited to pick it up Friday, not a big RPG guy in general so the simplicity will probably appeal to be more than most. Plus, at the very least, it looks gorgeous

Didn't like Sticker Star, but this one was really fun, thought the writing was great.

Sticker Star was so terrible, it ruined everything good about the Paper Mario series, and this new one looks to be following in the same path. Such a huge bummer after how incredible The Thousand Year Door was.

Paper Mario has become a midtier series. The series is just not as good as they it to be, and clearly not as important to Nintendo as it used to be. So yeah, there is no reason to get hyped at this point. Mario & Luigi on the other hand..

Nintendo needs to release a lengthy demo for this game. They fixed nearly every issue I had with Sticker Star. Unfortunately the trailers make it look like the same game, only prettier.

Bought today, probably won't have time to get into it until tomorrow

Just started my Tokyo Mirage run yesterday. Story embraced the cliche anime tropes (which I don't mind) but the battle system is really really good.

Oh yeah it's great. The only thing that bothers me are the load times.

Haha no, but I did a quick google search of Clean Room and it looks pretty interesting.

It's Cheryl Blossom from the new Archie: archie15albuquevar - Archie Comics

Haha Archie was actually one of the things I threw around, but I haven't kept with it.

Clean Room is one of the most confusing books to start, but pretty damn rewarding if you stick with it. Probably helps that I'm a sucker for anything Gail Simone writes.
