Real talk how do you guys call plays against the computer? I'm too competitive so I call the same 4 plays or so and just compete against myself to see how high I can score.

 

I basically do this too. I have ~20 i really like, and then outside of that i go through concepts i want to try out.

 

I also live in the no-huddle and wind up drawing my plays up on the fly for a large part of the time.

 

There's a play and two audibles that the game's AI literally cannot stop. You make one read, and it decides whether you run or pass.

 

I'd be curious how i'd do against Randall. I do A LOT of my damage over the middle.

 

I do coaches suggestions, pick what I want, then hot route.

 

Depends on the team. His team with Patrick Queen will make you eat the controller in frustration

10-0 btw. Not gonna struggle for the 16-0, may start resting guys to avoid injury. AJ Green has been dangerously close a few times. N'Keal Harry seems to ALWAYS come down with the toss-up balls.

 

N'Keal Harry is fuckin great in Madden. He develops into an alpha dog possession receiver so quickly.

 

like, for real unless you're really bad at passing, it's better to draft receivers late in this game. N'Keal Harry and Noah Fant can each be had like, after you've already built most the rest of your roster... and both of those guys, the AI seems to perform better than the player is actually rated.

Then you just draft 38 year old Larry Fitz as your WR2, so you can have another reliable target, cause he stays on the board forever and plan to replace him with your first draft haha.

 

Ahh yes the reliable Larry Fitzgerald. Probably has more drops in my madden season than in his entire career.

 

I have Harry and Fant and lemme tell you when i hit people with the PA Fork Fant is unguardable.

 

the best part is, the game gives him credit for being an Iowa TE and makes him progress rather quickly in blocking stats.

I've upgraded only blocking for 3 years straight and now he has like 90 RBK and 85 lead block etc. He's a 6th lineman who also destroys LB over the middle of the field. I've been trying to do the same thing with Thad Moss and he hasn't grown NEARLY as quickly so that's just a hidden gem that Fant has.

 

I think @socklord leads me in drops because all of his catches are right down the middle haha

Him and Darnold are on about the same level, imo. But Darnold is younger, so whatevs I guess

I played just a normal game offline with the Steelers and put up 50 points but with my create a team it's a struggle every single game. Either the CPU hates m or I put together a terrible roster.
