I personally think those Packers jerseys hit the “so bad they’re good” level

 

nope. The red is obnoxious to me and we already have the Chiefs & 49ers to be annoying about that lol

I'm just usually not a fan of "loud" colors though. Like, the Seahawks blue jerseys with neon numbers >> the neon ones with blue numbers and I know I'm the only person here who thinks that haha

An example of a jersey I like is Eagles. Unique but not dumb looking font, a very earthy but still distinctive shade of green, a logo that makes sense and is simple without being too cartoony.

I'm just always gonna think if you have a really good RB that's gonna be valued differently. If your RB is just "above average" then yeah don't sign. I think Fournette is on the cusp - he has the potential but he still hasn't "proven" anything yet. He needs to have a REALLY good / healthy year this year to earn it.

 

Like, do i like Fournette & enjoy watching him, yeah. Does he have a great personality in the locker room, fuck yes and that's why I give him the benefit of the doubt more than a non-Jaguars fan.

But is he as good as Taylor / MJD were when they got their contract extensions? Absolutely not.

I don't think that's fair because Fred Taylor played in a time where a great RB seemed to be more valuable to retain than it is now

 

That's one way of looking at it and definitely a big factor. I also think a lot of those RB getting retained back then were flat out better than the ones not getting retained right now.

From like 2007 to 2015 we went from having like 15 Todd Gurleys, to Todd Gurley being seen as a rare prospect, it seems like.

^ and then there's still this much talent left over so it's not like it was a bunch of scrubs. Foster and Parker are only down here because they both had a lot of injury issues, both of them were really good.

In the modern NFL? there's probably not even 10 guys I'd re-sign if they were in their primes (some of those guys are old now, too) and meanwhile almost half the starters in the league are scrubs. I think the difference in talent is conspicuous.
