Eh, they'll still be airing a bunch of games anyway...its not like they are cancelling a MNF or TNF game (yet). Week 6 is trickier, especially with the presidential debate being delayed

It’s funny cause Daniel Jones isn’t good... but I wasn’t wrong that him going over Haskins made sense from the tape, and the way he was coached... even though Haskins had better college numbers, more wins, and more hype.

everyone was laughing like NYG got duped and I’m like, I mean yeah maybe they didn’t HAVE to trade. But they did it to make sure their rivals WFT got the shittier QB haha

i mean, i agree that the season should never have started but i dont agree that it could have been any other team - i hate to use them as a positive example but the patriots are handling this very responsibly, the titans players and whatever coaches that surely knew about the illegal practices decided to go ahead and do it are fucking up royally for everyone else. You cant blame the nfl as an organization for dumb players doing dumb things. This is now squarely on the Titans.

 

Eli was retiring. They had to take a QB. Not always gonna get a great one when you need one. They took the guy with the highest floor to hopefully keep things stable enough to help with building the rest of the team

 

I wonder if those games will be on National TV. I’m hoping they are.

 

all im saying is im not gonna be surprised if it comes out that they weren't the only ones. and I also don't think it's accurate to blame all COVID spreading on them, we have no way of saying for sure that the players on all other 31 teams are being responsible outside of team activities. I wouldn't rule out, the Titans are just the first rule breakers to get caught.

 

We know we’ll enough that this is always a terrible theory. There was also not taking a dude in the first (see: Drew Lock, etc)...and quite a few options in FA and or trades

Tannehill, Foles, Bridgewater, etc...all who are starting for teams

 

This is also why you hammer them; make it clear the impact of rule breaking is forfeited games.

 

Lock and Tannehill surprised me and are better at their new teams than I thought. I still like Daniel Jones over the other 3 options though.

 

Tannehill was already on the Titans at that point.

Gonna just circle back around to how wild it is we just give up on guys this quickly. It's been one season and four games and Daniel Jones is a bust. 11 games and Haskins is hopeless.

 

Well, I dont mean to be saying Haskins is "hopeless" I'm sure the right tutelage could get som'n out of him. I just really did not agree with him commanding early first round value and with people acting like pick 15 was a steal

 

I get why Jones and Haskins went in the first round. I wouldn't have taken either if it was up to me but I can't dictate how the rest of the NFL feels so like, if I'm interested in Jones/Haskins I'm kind of screwed into reaching. Same applies to tackles.
