Think a fantasy football draft, then you use your team to do battles against each other. You draft from all available Pokémon in the current format (currently sword and shield with some limitations). No Pokémon can be on multiple teams. So there’s a ton of variety and weird strategies folks can use.

Unless you’re me. Then I lose to Carpetelf.

It is not. Dragalge, Marowak, and Slowking are the only ones that'd really benefit. Spritzee and Tangela too but I've yet to find a reason to use one of them over any other option. If I ever ran with all three of those then maybe.

 

Don’t you dare forget dhelmise, also crawdaunt is just barely not super slow

 

Dhelmise learns rapid spin. Crawdaunt is in that annoying tier where trick room might not help me. Love both of them though. Crawdaunt was my MVP last season but he's hardly come off the bench this year.

True, you can use a grass or ghost move instead of rapid spin if you did tho. Crawdaunt is not super slow but not fast either so he’s in that mid-tier where it’s annoying. Tailwind is probably a better choice, or have either on the field when you use max airstream.

 

I usually am predictable with Dhelmise and go AV + Grass/Ghost/Steel/Rapid Spin

Assault Vest. It's an item that gives you 1.5x SpDef but you can only select attacks. It's basically meant for me haha

 

I went outside for five minutes in a t shirt and shorts and flip flops and the heat index is 106° and I feel baked. Sucks so much.
