Well, you also have no real power, whereas its pretty common in contract law to have severability clauses if ownership changes hands. Id be very willing to be that the FOX and USA deals that the WWE has rely in large part on it being Vince McMahon's WWE, and if he were to sell, that those agreements could be voided.

If Vince had sold to some schmucks with no sports experience and no star power, then yeah, they'd obviously want out. I suspect The Rock eases that quite a bit. But either way, all the XFL deal for is paying for production costs...so all ESPN has to do is not produce or carry their games and its not like the XFL will survive that long enough to win in court.

I honestly don't think they're buying the XFL with the hopes of getting anything live in 2020 or 2021. I would guess 2022 is the launch date assuming bagel is behind us. In reality, starting a football league is really hard. So if $15 million bucks gets you value-wise $45 million dollars closer to where you need to be, perfect. Vince def sold at a loss so whatever is included in terms of trademarks, deals etc is a nice head start.

And I bet having the rock involved makes every tv network hold on severing ties. The Rock is one of the most valuable assets in America.

Well, James didn’t play last year either so I’m sure drew is stoked (if a season is even played)

ended up going with another Hyundai since that’s what I’ve driven since I got my license. Pretty darn happy with it and get 3 free years of oil changes and tire rotations/and remote start from my phone

You know guys, if you combine the PFF grades of Brian Winters, Daryl Williams, Spencer Long and Jon Feliciano you get like 215. I'm not a scientist but I think Brandon Beane is on to something here. We've now got the strength of TWO elite guards on the roster

Lee Smith had 320 offensive snaps last year so they're certainly familiar with playing at least 6 OL

So if you're the Patriots and you don't have any tight ends, why not just play a 6th OL 100% of the time lol
