Tbf most people wanted it changed back then too but that's because at the time Mahomes was the underdog new guy to Brady being dominant everywhere and now that Mahomes is the dominant one people complain about him instead

 

I’d rather they just play a fixed length overtime, but I get why they won’t do that. A college like overtime would be better too. Either way, keeping it sudden death ish but making it a TD instead of FG has always been a weird halfway measure

I vote only one team gets the ball, no field goals. Offense scores a TD, they win. Defense gets a stop, they win. Any fan base that complains has their teams entire draft stripped.

 

The playoff rules should just be the regular season rules

 

I honestly don't hate it

have a coin toss, winning team gets to pick if they want offense or defense

 

I have no doubt at least one team out there spent hundreds of thousands of dollars or more, researching coin-flipping techniques and practices.
