Don’t let Drew suck you in to his BS

it was a good game and let’s be grateful we had a good game on opening night. Of course Lamar went off and of course KC still won. Water is also still wet.

 

Drew got mad at me once for stating Aaron Rodgers cared more about MVP’s than winning a Super Bowl and then that asshole immediately was a no show in the playoffs against like Jimmy G

(however I am very pro GB this season go pack go)

 

It seemed like Lamar ran a lot tonight not because of the play call but because the pocket collapsed almost instantly for most of the game.

 

Almost like its the first game of week one and two of the current studs were rusty as was both their teams :)

 

He has a great career will be a HOFer I just think it’s extremely rare for that style of play to win a Super Bowl without other hall of fame players around or a generational defense

 

I’m less convinced by arguments about his play style than the fact that so far he’s demonstrated he’s decidedly not clutch

 

Okay, so we’re up to like 5.

6 QBs from Utah State have made it to the NFL and none of them have won a Super Bowl so the Packers are FUCKED.

 

Ok, and he’s like, in the middle of his career. Chill my dude

It’s tougher on the body taking all those hits

again just look at the history of Super Bowl winners

 

Or maybe this style of play is such a tremendously small sample size in history that it’s absurd to make a sweeping generalization about it

 

Did they win it?

 

Part of that is them not even trying to establish an actual rushing attack

defensive line only had to stop Derrick Henry for a few plays to spook Harbaugh into checkdown pass mode

Vick is the only player that can match or come close to Lamar. So yes, one other one has not won a Super Bowl before.

maybe against the packers

My argument has never been mobile QBs but QBs that take a big chunk of the rushing for the team

 

So they can be elite for the entire season but magic will make them fall apart during that one specific game.

Yes, the vast majority of the NFL hasn't had guys like this.

Yeah the lack of Henry’s presence tonight was very strange. They had Justice Hill blocking Chris Jones on the last couple plays.
