The whole Reddick thing really leaves me so conflicted

 

It's very true DK was ridiculously hyped

 

On one hand, it is absolutely embarrassing that Howie, of all people, couldn’t get more than a conditional 2026 third for an edge rusher who is better than other edge rushers that teams gave up more for despite needing to give them contracts upon trading for them

On the other hand, Reddick was obviously not going to play so maybe a conditional 2026 third is a steal (it’s not)

It’s funny because Parris Campbell was a guy the Eagles were high on and Jeffery Lurie voted in favor of JJAW over Campbell. Turns out neither of them were it, but the Eagles finally got Campbell this offseason and saw enough to cut him and sign him to their practice squad lol

 

hindsight is 20/20 obv but I don’t hate the Parris pick as much as I hate some other busted picks. Dude’s calling card was speed and dynamic play ability, which IND so desperately needed and on paper fit great with Reich’s scheme, and he just couldn’t stay on the field (and as far as I know, that wasn’t a perceived knock on the prospect) and lost that over time with repeated knee injuries.

wasn’t one of the stupid Ballard day 2 picks like Ben Banogu or Kemoko Turay which were head scratchers from the start

 

yeah I saw Ben Banogu on the list and was like huh who is that

 

I was def in the “Parris Campbell is not good” club

 

I liked JJAW but thought he was way overrated and only good at one thing. Turns out he’s not even good at that thing lol

 

I was a simp for AJ Brown and Deebo Samuel and it worked out

I liked JJAW too though you win some you lose some

 

first one of the new season, feels good

 

On this one Randall is very right. Fans and Analysts were like "This dude is going top 5 he's a physical freak!" And everyone actually plugged in was like "he runs straight. he's going later than everyone expects."

It was honestly really funny.

 

What was not funny was a certain team, very dumb in nature, drafting N'keal Harry over both of them.

 

That part was very not-funny and has not produced any laughs since.

 

Just hoping Derrick Henry gets over 6 rushing attempts tonight

i feel like they wouldn’t have went out and splurged on a FA for once if it wasn’t to use the shit out of him

maybe Harbaugh finally got tired of his revolving door of constantly injured young players and wanted a veteran who’s proven to be durable

 

And in this Ravens offense? Shit 15 Henry carries could still easily be 100 and a TD a lol

 

I’m not high on Henry in dynasty, I think he’s got another two excellent years left in him and then a sharp decline, like most backs who rely on power and have this much tread

but I’m VERY high on him in re-draft, to the point this might be that “late career peak” that a lot of players of his caliber end up having right as they enter their 30s

 

God damn i'm nervous for tomorrow. My expectations are non-existent, I have no idea what is going to happen for Philly.

 

I’m very excited for Ravens / KC tbh. Prob gonna go to a pub early and make sure I get my seat
