Reminder that one of the coolest things about Showtime is they release their new episodes for streaming 12am EST before they air on TV. I used to stay up and watch Yellowjackets Saturday nights, and then watch it again as it airs Sunday night.

 

I can't remember the last time HBO and Showtime both had shows airing at the same time I wanted to watch. Sunday nights are back baby.

 

Is this part of the snakes on a plane cinematic universe? Are we getting snakes on a bear who did cocaine on a plane next?

 

Someone mentioned it in this thread at some point, but Stolen Youth messed me up. It was only 3 eps, and I'm emotionally deflated.

Do not care even the tiniest bit about succession and everything I hear about Jeremy Strong makes me less and less likely to watch it

I've avoided white lotus because I assumed it was similar (sorta) but I've also heard it's not so idk

 

Succession and white lotus are both great

 

Also just waiting for Apple to announce something about the release dates for the half dozen fire ass limited series they have waiting in the wings. I need a trailer for the one where Patton Oswald is playing the Union spy that helped locate John Wilkes Booth.

oh damn! The minute I stop checking for the release date, it's almost here.

I have a feeling though that due to the weight of expectations, and the LONG wait, it'll be a controversial season about if it meets those lofty heights, but I'm here for it. I enjoyed season 2 every bit as much as season 1. It's amazing how thin the premise was and how well it's been fleshed out and executed.

Looks like it's completely weekly and not a multi dump then weekly so the enjoyment will be stretched out.
