  1. It feels like so much more, though, don't you think? It's just special

I couldn’t even make it through the first season of the good place.

  4. You need to make it to the end of the first season at the very least

Maybe I’ll try again someday. I just really didn’t like it. And I know all the twists and what not.

Wild. I said I started watching Seinfeld and people are out here unironically saying Friends is better. I’m only a few episodes into Seinfeld and there is simply no comparison in terms of quality. This is Larry David-erasure. Every few lines we get something clever or hilarious. Friends on the other hand is like unbuttered toast.

For sure agree, I could tell from the pilot episode that it was gonna be different. Truly a unique show that crosses a lot of genres

I'll just be over here championing Frasier for best sitcom. Tbh Roseanne would be up there too if the last season and also the reboot didn't taint it

I tried rewatching community last year and stopped during season 2. Some good episode but just bad overall.

  11. Joel’s character is way too sarcastic and douchey to sit and watch a lot of it comfortably. I like the paintball episodes and ones where there’s a fun one-off theme a lot though.

the character growth tho, the growth!

also it's like the standard for every sitcom to have massive douches as leads who would be insufferable in real life lol. except for like Mike Schur shows

  13. I don’t typically want to punch my tv though with other shows hah

Community is great, especially seasons 5 and 6. Season 1 was a bit of a snoozefest because it's a very generic sitcom in the beginning, and we don't talk about the gas leak season

Roseanne is such a shitty person but I totally agree. I loved that show growing up and it got a lot of laughs out of me.

  17. I found community to be an absolute slog to get though. A handful of good episodes at most.

Only sitcoms I've ever really liked are The Good Place and Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Seinfeld is the goat. I watch it in full once every couple of years.

Now that I have Peacock I recently started King of Queens from the beginning. Never actually watched it back in the day, but after season 1 this is pure gold.
