As far as I know, most sets are still requiring testing and aren’t letting you on set without a negative test. A lot are doing rapids as soon as you arrive. If she was symptomatic and didn’t wait for the test results that’s super irresponsible

I saw that on tiktok a while ago but of course it was filled with comments about people who don't think covid is real and didn't care when a few people expressed concern. Even if she didn't have covid i wish we could normalize sick leave and not coming to work sick even if it's a cold or flu and not covid

2023 Golden Globes noms get announced next Monday on 12/12. I know it's not the awards with the best track record but any early predictions for TV?

Per the consensus from the editors and contributing critics of Gold Derby:
    • Drama will be The Crown, Severance, HOTD, Yellowstone, and Better Call Saul. Most favoring The Crown to win, a few are picking Severance as a dark horse.
    • Comedy will be Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Only Murders In the Building, and Barry. Abbott is the overwhelming favorite to win.
    • Limited Series will be The Dropout, White Lotus, Dahmer, Blackbird. The 5th pick is all over the place people either are picking The Patient, Pam and Tommy, or Chippendales to round it out. Most favor either The Dropout or White Lotus to win.
    • TV Drama Actor race is between Adam Scott and Odenkirk
    • Imelda Staunton is the overwhelming favorite to win TV Drama Actress
    • TV Comedy Actor race is between Jeremy Allen White and Steve Martin
    • TV Comedy Actress race is between Quinta Brunson and Jean Smart

until a couple of days ago I was under the impression that both 1923 and 1899 were Yellowstone spinoffs

And then there's another Yellowstone spinoff called 1883. Too many shows being titled with years.

World class acting going on in the George Jones and Tammy Wynnette new biopic TV show on paramount. Michael Shannon and Chastain are proving that A+ acting can really make or break a show. Loved the musical renditions. The pacing is a bit jarring as I don't get what's happening since its kinda fast in this 1st episode.

But I'm in while I have showtime for a month

"The Leftovers" is great. I had to stop watching halfway through season one (when it aired) because it was so endlessly bleak, including a scene that was especially brutal. I Wikpedia'd the rest of the season and jumped back on season 2 and the show got better and better.

  25. Thanos snap? Leftovers did it first, and much better addressed the repercussions of such a thing happening. Carrie Coon gives one of the best TV performances I've seen, funny how she ended up in Infinity War practically unrecognizable under a ton of makeup
