Getting a strange amount of Ancient Aliens-esque shit on D+

 

I really do not have high hopes for that new National Treasure show but we'll see.

 

I’m really hoping it’s great. I love the movies so much.

 

i just watched the friday night lights series finale. masterclass stuff. i'm so bummed it's over.

 

It’s a silly, light watch, but I’m really enjoying the Big Brunch.

 

When does that come out?

This took me forever to realize you were talking about the show Wednesday, and not that you had a finished a show on Wednesday but didn't say the name of it.

 

How spooky scary is it?

 

Norwegian Christmas film made by the same people (almost the same set of characters) who did the "Home for Christmas" series

 

Not very scary at all, I think. Draws heavily from horror aesthetically but that's about it. The kills and monster designs are pretty mild graphically.

 

Isn't the Addams Family supposed to be funny? That's what mainly fell flat for me. Took itself too seriously

 

Yeah it's definitely more concerned with being quirky and dark and edgy than it is with being family friendly, but once I got past that it's not interested in tonally being like the source material, I enjoyed it

 

Felt like the RZ Munsters movie in the best way. There were lots of jokes, but they didn’t land and felt intentional like the show.

 

So far on my Britbox journey i've done the first series of Thick Of It, and now i'm onto Blackadder the Third. Going to do Fawlty Towers after i'm done with Blackadder. Maybe Father Ted after that.

What other British TV classics should i check out. Unfornutely Britbox doesn't have I'm Alan Partridge.

 

Peep Show? Not sure if it has that or if that's old enough to be classic but it's amazing.

It's been ages since I watched it but I remember liking Red Dwarf as a kid. My grandparents used to love Keeping Up Appearances.
