I’m like 6-7 eps into this and it just has not clicked at all for me. Super unfortunate.

Shadowland on Peacock is a really frustrating but interesting watch

 

Dead End Paranormal Park is so good -- totally deserves to be in the same discussion as shows like Infinity Train, Owl House, Stephen Universe and Gravity Falls -- but man the s2 finale fucked me up

 

I've never heard of it but you got my attention with those comparisons, some of my favourite shows ever especially Gravity Falls. I will check it out!

I'd love if this show got a proper remaster like Friends

 

Was trying to save some money and switched over to the ad-supported version of HBO Max because I thought it might be like Hulu where they just frontload a movie with ads so there’s no breaks during movie. Nope. Commercial breaks every 15 minutes. Completely pointless.

 

Do you still have access to all the content? I was thinking I saw that the Ad supported was a limited selection?

 

I think so? I haven’t had time lately to comb through their library to see

Good to see everyone is learning the wrong lessons from this.

 

Also, Netflix having a “Stranger Things Week” is such a dumb concept. They won’t promote their movies or shows, but they will dedicate an entire week to a show that’s already months in the rear view.

 

The stranger thing is their reliance on word of mouth model of marketing
