Episode one of The Peripheral was pretty good. I’ll try to find time for the other two.

Anyone watch The Vatican Girl? It was a pretty wild ride but ended up in the same terrible place I expected it to

I enjoyed the second episode. I like cheesy stupid horror in short format like that, when it doesn’t over stay it’s welcome. A full length film about cemetery rats would’ve been too much lol.

Surprised I had to use “search” to find Wendell &Wild on Netflix (nowhere to be found on the main page)
Really enjoyed it, probably not as much as Coraline but it’s worth watching

I enjoyed the first Cabinet of Curiosities. Looks like I'll be skipping the second. I'm excited for the one by Panos Cosmatos

Yeah I think it's still entertaining enough to watch, it's just Ryan Murphy levels of ridiculousness to me lol

I think they’re all worth watching. I don’t even think “Graveyard Rats” is the weakest (“Dreams in the Witch House” is my least favorite) but I wouldn’t call any of them bad

Episode 4 of Cabinet of Curiosities was pretty bad imo. Worse than episode 2.

Okay, now episode 5 is scaring the absolute shit out of me. I have yelled "JESUS CHRIST" about 3 or 4 times now

I only watched the first two, but I might have liked the 2nd episode more than the first tbh

Echoing the statement on how brutal All Quiet On The Western Front was - especially that ending. And what was up with the guy who got shot at the formation just before the end?

I believe he/they were refusing to go fight that last battle/charge, so the officers basically take that as desertion/cowardice, so decided to shoot them as punishment

    yeah good okay Prestigious

Was wondering why everyone was talking about All Quiet and then I saw it was a remake. I remember watching the original in high school and was confused for a second.

Started the Watcher last night. I've never watched any Ryan Murphy stuff so I don't know what the vibe is supposed to be like. How cheesy is it gonna be? We're only two episodes in

Haven’t seen the Watcher yet but Ryan Murphy stuff ranges from extreme levels of camp (Scream Queens/certain seasons of AHS) to genuinely good stuff (American Crime Story)

I thought Dahmer was the better of the 2 recent Ryan Murphy Netflix projects. The Watcher didn’t quite stick the landing for me.

What's everyone looking forward to in November? My big two are The Crown season 5 and Willow. Will probably check out Tulsa King on Paramount+ and Welcome to Chippendales on Hulu. I think that Blockbuster Netflix show will probably be good.

The Sheridan/Winter collab has me interested in Tulsa King, but it really is nearly the same plot as Netflix's Lilyhammer.

Excited for Tulsa King... mainly because my wife and oldest kid are extras in it. Same with A Christmas.. Present on GAC with Candace Cameron Bure for that same reason. Hell, my kid just signed with an agent. Who knew OK was such a hotbed for TV/Movie production...

Last year I briefly looked into taking some film/production courses since so much stuff is popping up in Oklahoma.

And then I talked to my friend that works in costuming and it seems not very fun

Yeah I think different areas film industries are starting to find their own niches. Tampa's film industry for example is the hotbed for Hallmark and Lifetime original movies. I think almost all of them are filmed here now.
