Yeah I don’t get it either; I thought it was a solid, decently well put together action thriller/mystery series. Pratt’s acting stood out as pretty good. Logically most character decisions made sense. Hopefully they do keep the series going.

 

I was really looking forward to 5 Days at Memorial but that teaser trailer looks very meh. I'll still give it a watch because that story is crazy. Also this is pretty much that season of American Crime Story that I was looking forward to that never ended up getting made

 

Anyone watch Flatbush Misdemeanors?

Just started it today and am halfway through the first season. It's great.

 

I started the first episode a month ago and turned it off.

 

I'm not sure who Boo, Bitch is for but it is not funny at all

 

Cant decide if I want to start Black Bird now or wait til the season is over.

 

I'd suggest pushing through at least the first episode. I couldn't really grasp the tone at first and turned off the first episode 10 minutes in the first time I tried watching it too.

 

Started Black Bird. Pretty good so far.

Love that Robert Wisdom is getting more work recently. It almost feels like a quota at this point for every prestige show of "we need to cast at least one The Wire vet" .

also Greg Kinnear is in this. Always love me some Kinnear.

 

I didnt realize Mogwai did the soundtrack for Black Bird. Now I have to check it out.

 

The Bear was so good.

 

Started it last night and that first episode is chaotic in a great way. Second episode slows the pace so we can get to know everyone. Really enjoying it so far, a solid combo of humor and grittiness.

Yeah probably the best new show of the year

 

I like to have shows on as background noise, even watching it for the first time... that was a show where it legit drew my full, undivided attention from start to finish.

 

I can’t wait for Reservation Dogs to come back.

 

The Bear was fantastic. Episode 7 in particular is so unnerving. Final episode was great too, and kudos to whoever the music supervisor is

 

I haven’t gotten far in The Bear yet but Yellowjackets, We Own This City, and Severance are all my year’s best new shows.
