I had no idea those were her parents! This is up there with Dakota Johnson for surprising lineages that I definitely should have known about sooner.

Coach is the best part of Cheers. He is too pure for this world.

Speaking of pure, I'm waiting for the Queer Eye guys to disappoint me because they are way too pure and lovable like I know we're not supposed to put celebs on pedestals but it's too late ok I have and I must live with it!!

 

Coach was the heart of everything and losing him was so incredibly awful. And agreed about the QE boys, especially Jonathan. Mama Tammye saying he was pure was one of the best moments on television in recent memory.

 

Yeah Jonathan was my least favorite at first but now he’s definitely my favorite.

 

So I’m watching Set It Up and so far I hate everyone except Zoey Deutch and I really don’t know if I can get into this.

Frasier's suits at this point in Cheers are fitted and decent and actually quite nice, but the ones in his own show are so ugly and dated what is happening



I need to make a tumblr or something for my cheers musings. Right after I make the one where I rate george clooney's hair on every episode of ER. They dont call me a hard hitting journalist for nothing.

 

He was so brave for admitting that Frasier was his icon and that was my favorite Tan moment ever. Honestly Frasier is like my least favorite part of his show but he was so good on Cheers.

 

Niles is one of the greatest sitcom characters of all time, and Martin is a fantastic dad and Daphne/Roz were such cute friends that it's easy for Frasier to get overshadowed on his own show. David Hyde Pierce is amazing but like I said I dont put celebs on pedestals or anything!!

At this point in Cheers Frasier hasn't been on a whole ton tho. He just shows up every few episodes for a sec.

 

Niles is a physical comedy GOD. I love him so so much.

 

He is amazing. I relate to his lack of self esteem and awkwardness and fragility so much lmao. He consistently still makes me laugh out loud at episodes I've seen tons of times. He was born to play that character, I swear.

Tho his suits were worse than Frasier's. Tho the 90s and early 00s was just a bad era for suits. They were so baggy. Any time I watch Queer As Folk i die inside every time Brian wears a suit because they're so ill-fitted and hideous. Thank gawd for Peaky Blinders serving us beautiful suits.

And that is all I have to say about suits rn.

 

Niles is the best. I saw David Hyde Pierce on Broadway with the guy who played Gil Chesterton and they were absolutely fabulous together.

There's one scene in Frasier that pinpoints my admiration for Pierce's physical comedy. It's the episode where each character has a different date on Valentine's Day and Nile's is preparing for his at Frasier's place. He cuts himself, passes out from the sight of blood, sets the couch on fire, walks slowly with scissors, uses a lighter to look at the can of couch cleaner, and then passes out on the floor again. Wonderful job using nothing but facing expressions and body language to tell a really funny story.

 

That scene is iconic. the first time I remember actually laughing hard at the show is when Niles bought a starter pistol. And anytime he does that grimace smile lol

 

I loved when he got Hot and Foamy.

 

Just watched Coco for the first time. Holy shit it’s so damn good.

 

Coco is such an emotional rollercoaster! Pixar always pull it out the bag.

 

Hannah Gadsby's Nannette and The Last Laugh make for a good pairing. I watched both within a week or two of each other and both touch on different areas of how we use (or mis-use) comedy.

 

the QE episode with william and shannon made me cry, god damn.

Yes got my friend stanning queer eye! And she would make a perfect candidate on the show if they went outside of Georgia! Rural oregon isn't much different tbh!! Just worse food I imagine.
