I just binged the first two seasons after watching the third because I realized I was forgetting a lot, and it was a totally fine experience for me anyways

 

The aspect I liked about YOU 3 is how all of their characters got a fair deal of "what they're saying is right and they sound righteous... but they're also full of shit and shouldn't be applauded".

What i mean, a good example, is the relationship of mother and love. On the surface, they make the mother to be this upper class, careless, superficial, heartless woman who only cares about herself. So when Love calls her out for it, the instinct is "love is right, she's someone I can root for cause she's a good person" , but then the mom responds, showing how full of shit love is and how she's been a beneficiary of this life etc etc and you say "huh, moms also right"

They're flawed people. Some good aspects, some terrible aspects, and obviously, some very terrible aspects.

 

You S3 me just took things too far for me. Too many characters, too many storylines, too many murders (or almost murders), too much chaos. Just too much of everything really

I don’t need anymore, but I’ll punish myself

 

This might be my favorite thing to come out of the internet lately

 

On to season three of Sex Education. This show is a joy to watch.
