well he said he's much more laid back and shy in real life, so I doubt his on-screen persona would be identical. That being said, I'd completely enjoy hanging out with his tv-version at a bar

As a shy and awkward person, I love being around people like Courtney's TV persona because they often fill the quiet/awkward moments and get me out of my shell haha

Yeah I wouldn’t last ten seconds with him. However - I’ve liked some of his gameplay.

  4. The scrubs episode about the Iraq war is truly the low point of the series. What a bad episode.

That show has not aged particularly well, but it was good for its time and the creator is making his best work now so it’s okay.

I have a soft spot for that show because it was really great when I was going through cancer but like, there’s a lot of jokes that wouldn’t make it to air today. That’s true of a lot of shows though.

Synchronic was a pretty fun movie. Not perfect and a "meh" ending, but I enjoyed it enough

Gotta say that it’s wild there’s a new space movie out today with Anna Kendrick, Toni Colette and Daniel Dae Kim on Netflix and I haven’t seen a single ad for it. Didn’t even know it was coming out this month.

I loathed scrubs growing up when it was “big” on prime time but then learned to appreciate it more in college. Ended up being one of my all time favorites.

had no idea about the movie, but on paper it sounds like something I would like. The fact I've never heard of it though? Feels like they had a reason

“Stowaway” is decent. Some nice moments of tension. The characters are kind of thin, but I guess that’s why you employ three talented actors to make up for that. Also a nice reminder that Anna Kendrick is a good dramatic actor.

I can see why Netflix hasn’t gone hard on pushing this, because not a whole lot happens (I was expecting some heel turn that thankfully never happened). For a “space problems” movie, it’s pretty cut and dry. It also ends very abruptly.

I just watched it as well, I agree with you on pretty much every note. I think my main issue though was buying into so many aspects of the movie. I never really bought the idea of there even being a possibility of a stowaway on a mission like that. I never bought the idea that 4 people could live for 20 days, but 3 could live... until Mars??? The math doesnt work. I didn't buy the idea that everyone exhausted "every single option" and then after they almost had to kill him, magically there was oxygen in a dangerous area that no one thought of before? It also didn't really seem all that dangerous with how much they were strapped in. Anyway, I don't really understand why Anna Kendrick was gonna died at the end either. Whatever
