I Care a Lot was good. It was probably one of the more 'fun', stupid, entertaining films I've seen in a while. Nasty premise, nasty hollywood characters, and rosamund pike was AMAZING. She plays this character like a fucking star.

Issue was the 2nd half...or maybe the final 1/3 when the movie goes FULL ON JAMES BOND COMPLICATED DEATH SCENES trope. Our main character becomes a super hero. And the overall premise of the movie gets sorta forgotten.

I had zero issue with the movie ending with the shitty people winning in the end but i had to admit, thank god she got shot because a villain not getting any comeuppance was going to feel so icky! I hate saying that because a movie should take chances sometimes but i felt icky knowing nothing bad happened to her.

Pike is this movie. She Gordon Gecko's the shit out of it.

It wasn't good, but nowhere near as bad as the thread made it out to be.

I vaguely remember the last conversation we had, but it was the general consensus that Malek sucks, right? For me, he was the worst part of the movie.

Malek’s sleepwalking through the role, but Leto is so much more aggressively annoying that he’s the worst imo

leto is a terrible person but he is the only interesting part of that movie. malek is pretty awful. gonna be interesting how bond shapes up. dude is pretty close to the “fighting to keep a career” stage much sooner than i anticipated

Has anyone watched Behind Her Eyes on Netflix? If so, how is it?

Watched the last few episodes as my wife binged it yesterday.

Soap opera level everything with an ending that made me say "hmm nah, nah I don't like it".

Its so short though so worth the watch just for the discussion

My sister recommended it to me, and she tends to like everything, so I kind of took it with a grain of salt, but she described it as a 'mind fuck' which caught my eye a little and I've seen more people talk about it on social media lately. But I haven't seen anything mentioned in this thread.

It is a mind fuck but its one of those things where the "reveal" of the mind fuckery comes at the way end and feels forced. Its like everything is normal, everything is normal, everything is normal (the whole time you know there's "something" sci fi going on but don't know the full extent) and then the end happens and you're like..."okay".

Its worth a watch. My wife liked the acting so

alright, so I'm just gonna say it: while definitely not the best movie, I seriously fail to see what was so wrong with The Little Things. I mostly enjoyed it

That's kind of the point though, no? It's not about the case. It's about what obsession and a willingness to skirt the rules does to the people trying to solve them.
