i concur but i was also referring to the cornballish way he would carry himself that i'm now seeing was probably the result of such a specifically traumatic upbringing. mind you, i've caught a number of his reviews over the years. seems like a lot of people might need to rethink their perception of chris after this shit (there’s quite a few folks on film twitter that love shitting on him, namely about how “straight” he comes off as which very obviously doesn’t work anymore)

 

anyway, good for him for stepping forward with everything. again, hoping everything gets better for him as it seems to have already, as well as him continuing to hopefully improve with his projects

 

Bloody Hell is out on VOD tonight/tomorrow. I saw it a few months back at an online film festival and it's pretty enjoyable. Worth the $4 rental fee.

Night Stalker show is okay. He’s probably the serial killer I’m the most afraid of

 

Yeah I have no interest in watching that simply because how absolutely fucked he was. I listened to a podcast about him a few years ago that shook me.

 

Like I think about how he apparently was very good at sneaking around the house, and still terrifies me.

 

I heard the doc shows crime scenes in too much grousome detail too, yeah?

 

25 minutes into Night Stalker and idk how many episodes there are in this series but this is heavy and brutal from the get go. I’ve never heard of this killer before.

 

I’ve only known him by his actual name (which I won’t spoil) but not as “the night stalker.”

 

I’m wondering if it’s one of those where I’ll recognize the name but just didn’t know the crimes or locations. I feel like that happens quite often for me lol

I read the book this is based on and it was good. Hopefully the movie is too.

I believe so, that's why there's the distinction. I believe they overlapped in years they committed crimes a bit too.

 

I like true crime documentaries, but Nightstalker felt sooo slow after watching the first episode. Not sure that it needs so many episodes

And Vince and Gil should have their own sitcom, even though there are enough cop / detective shows out there

 

I'm aware that 4 episodes isn't technically a lot, I just think that it is for this particular content
