Still no word on HBO and Roku, right? Sucks I still can't use it.

 

Because they have clout for running one of the most popular TV shows of all time so they can actually get projects greenlit. If you read the article it says they're teaming up with an Asian American showrunner and both the original author and the Chinese writer of the English adaptation are both on board as producers.

 

I'm paying for it right now because I wanna watch Hard Knocks but being limited to desktop and phone app is no bueno for me.

 

A cheap little Chromecast does the trick, but yeah, I'd much rather use my 4K Roku

I tried watching Joe Pera but it's just.... not for me. I get the shtick but I just don't find it very funny or endearing or frankly, interesting. Sorry

Class Action Park was great stuff. The Owner sounds like a real piece of shit, but I can't lie that it looks like a ton of fun haha

 

I don’t understand why Frozen Ground is suddenly #2 on Netflix. It came out 7 years ago and it’s supposedly not even the “good bad” kind of Cage movie

 

It probably just hit Netflix and people saw something new on Netflix with people they recognized.

 

The Video Association of Dallas / Dallas Video Fest does a weekly zoom meeting every Wednesday where they discuss a different film. Tonight, they are discussing "Disclosure: Trans Lives on Screen" and the director, Sam Feder will be in attendance answering questions and talking about the film.

The movie can be seen on Netflix and the call will be at 7:30pm central time.

If anyone is interested in participating, shoot me a PM and I'll hook you up with the Zoom link. The discussions are usually pretty good/informative and last about an hour.

Class Action Park was nuts. It got sad at the end, but there were quite a few times I laughed audibly at the outrageousness of it all. Really great doc, A+.

I just blew through seasons 2 and 3 of She-Ra (7+6=13 episodes total, but still). I heard this show was good, but I didnt expect it to get this good this quickly. Season 3 is incredible.
