I pay $8-12 per ticket depending where and when I go.

$30 for a rental is insane, I guess unless you are a family of four

 

Raising Hope is SOOO good and super underrated.

 

I didn’t mean it to come off like adults shouldn’t watch Mulan, more like why would you pay $30 as an adult to watch Mulan alone. The $30 only makes sense if you’re a group, it makes most sense in a family setting.

 

The trailer makes it pretty clear that it has more of an adult tone than most of the other live action remakes. I would rather pay money for something different than “The Lion King” or “Aladdin.”

Damn, episode 9 of Pen15 got me pretty teary-eyed, didn't expect that from this silly show. Overall, really enjoyed the season and I'm pumped for season 2

 

Just finished The Last Dance, so great

 

I hope that Ratched show is loyal to the book (one of my all-time favorites) but I don’t expect it to be, especially considering the show’s title. I‘m not sure he can get the tone right either... I was originally very hyped about it but now I’m fairly certain it’ll flop.

 

It won’t even get to the events of the book until the fourth season, going by his description of the series. I’m expecting it to have a similar feel to most of his other shows and bear almost no resemblance to any of the source material.

 

So it's a prequel series? Interesting.

I hope he ditches the comedic tone of some of his other stuff and it's closer in its seriousness to ACS. I also really hope it's not a horror because that just wouldn't really make sense.

Just finished season one of Harley Quinn. It's so fun. Between this and season one of Doom Patrol I'm really liking the DCU originals. I wonder if Titans will hit HBO Max eventually.

Umbrella Academy season two next!

 

So schitts creek would probably get into my top 10 shows. It really fires on all cylinders from the finale of season 2 until the end. Moira's accent / way of speaking slayed me the entire series. Dan levy is such an all star. I hope we see him in more things. And this show probably had the second best secondary characters behind parks and rec.

I could not get into Schitt’s Creek at all when I tried watching it awhile back.

This High Fidelity news crushed me. Probably my favorite new show this year. Urghhhh.

I feel like every music centric show gets killed after one season. High Fidelity, Vinyl, Roadies. I swear if they cancel Little Voice after this season I'll snap!
