Anyone ever watch The Earliest Show series Ben Shwartz, Lauren Lapkus, and Joe Hartzler did for Funny Or Die?

One of the funniest things I've watched in a long time. Just 6 short episodes all on YouTube, I was crying laughing. Hilarious bloopers, too

It was a great watch. A very weird one, but hilarious nonetheless

I know this is really old news at this point, but I watched the first episode of Space Force on Netflix, and it was a strange experience. I don't think I laughed one time but I also didn't hate it and I think I may have enjoyed it. The thing that stuck out to me was that it didn't feel like it was trying to be all that funny. I didn't feel like it was even trying to make me laugh. It didn't seem like there were a lot of jokes that were failing to land, as there are in some other unfunny comedies I've tried to watch in the past. In fact, it kinda just felt like a *slightly* sillier version of the middle aged white guy having an identity crisis cliche. Aside from the running gag of his door guy letting anyone and everyone into his office without letting him know, it wasn't until the Kokomo dance that it felt like the show was even trying to get me to smile.

I know that it's a very divisive show, but I think if you enjoyed the premiere even a little, you'll like the rest of the show. The first 2-3 episodes felt like a chore to get through, but then I loved the rest of the season. I think a lot of it has to do with the relationships between the characters growing and feeling more organic after a little time. Dr. Mallory and Naird play off each other really well over time

I don’t plan on ever watching it but the Shrek dance joke in the trailer made me bust out laughing super hard. That’s legitimately hilarious, haha

Although, I do love Kristen Schaal so I’m sure that’s part of it :)

I had quite a few moments where I was caught off guard and burst out laughing. That was one of them. There’s a gay couple next door that had me rolling. My mom wanted to watch it so we did that this evening. Sometimes you just need a feel good movie.

Eurovision was pretty good. It doesn’t really find its voice until about an hour in, but then its good campy fun. The accents were terrible but entertaining lolz. They really went all in on the Sigur Ros songs at the end but im not complaining. There was actually one scene that tugged at my heartstrings, which i didn’t expect at all.

Watched one episode of Lava and that was enough. The announcer and the contestants drove me nuts.

Also watched Come to Daddy. Last half was

Anyone else watching I May Destroy You on HBO? It’s really amazing so far, explores the nuances of consent in a super compelling way. And it’s funny too.

It’s really great. Definitely one that deserves full attention to make sense though, so I would make sure you’re in the mood to take in a ton of information. Very interested to hear your thoughts if you get into it!

That’s fair but I would love for you to watch it too! There are only a few aspects of the show that I have any issue with, mostly it’s flawless and beautiful.
