Thought the middleditch and Schwartz first episode was really funny . I respect the hell out of improv it's gotta be so hard.

 

The Half Of It is definitely the only netflix romcom to reference Bergman, Wim Wenders, and Sartre

 

Still really need to check out Schwartz and Middleditch. Every interview Ben does has me laughing hysterically, so I imagine he's pretty funny on the fly in an improv setting. Him and Danny Pudi are really funny together.

 

Way late, but I just burnt through S1 of Santa Clarita Diet. Great show. Excited for the next 2 seasons.

 

One of my favorite Netflix originals for sure. Timothy Olyphant is so fucking funny in it. Still so upset it got cancelled

 

Have you ever seen Better Off Ted?

Victor Fresco, the writer/creator of Santa Clarita Diet, also made Better Off Ted. Being a big fan of Better Off Ted, when I heard about that, I finally decided to check out SCD. If you like SCD, I definitely recommend Better Off Ted. It's on Hulu. Only lasted for 2 thirteen episode seasons and was then prematurely cancelled. Hilarious show with a similar sense of humor to SCD. You'll also recognize a handful of actors from SCD in BOT.

 

Oh hell yeah, I had no idea. I'll definitely check it out then, thanks!

Finished Rectify. High quality television. Felt lots of things.

 

For others that enjoyed Rectify, would you have preferred another season? I’m torn because of the state investigation. On the one hand it goes to the hope theme and fits in perfectly with the ending. But I also just either would have liked to have ended it without an investigation or see the investigation conclude..

Never heard of it before but it sounds pretty cool reading up on it! Kinda sounds like a mix between The Good Place and Devs.

Tbh I never realized Daniels co-created P&R. I thought that was Schur's baby. The fact that he was involved in that and The Office definitely makes me want to watch
