I get HBO through Hulu, so I believe I have to get Max on its own (and cancel HBO of course).

Started Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045. Never a fan of the SDCG shit, but some moments it looks ok (and others downright atrocious). First episode isn't very good, but it gets going after that.

 

So if my parents get HBO through their cable provider and I use their login will I be able to access HBO max?

 

I believe only people who subscribe through AT&T (and maybe by extension DirecTV?)will get it access to it with their cable login.

 

I wonder if my parents would go away from linear HBO to HBO Max. My dad is the type of person to peruse the movie channels and stop in at one or two for a time

 

My parents have all the movie channels and my dad will browse through and watch something every once in awhile. My mom hardly watches TV and gets pissed my dad insists on having every channel.

 

My parents hopped onto the streaming train so fast.

Finished PEN15. This is seriously one of the funniest shows I've seen in recent memory and I need S2! The drama works really well too. Ep6 hit hard because I had somewhat similar experiences when I was younger. Also, I had no idea the two leads were the creators and also in their 30s??? Like, I figured they were a bit older but wow.

 

I have HBO through my xfinity so hopefully I get max too.

 

If I pay extra for HBO now through Amazon Prime does this mean I'll get Max or need to get it separately?

If you have HBONow it will automatically transition you to Max.

 

This isn't strictly true, you have to subscribe to HBONow through HBO directly to get Max for free. If you're getting it through a third party like Amazon, you'll have to subscribe separately. (But since I believe Max will have all of Now's content anyway, for the same price, it seems like a no-brainer to switch over.)

Yeah we have one episode left. It is terrible. We will definitely watch a second season.

 

Yeah I don't quite understand why people are watching it other than quarantine reasons, everything about it looks like a shitty drama made for high schoolers
