Hell yeah this is what I like to hear. Haha after episode 4 or 5 it really gets a lot more interesting (for lack of a better term, heh)

 

I’m so ready for the simpsons aspect ratio to get fixed so I can get my fix for summer

 

may is going to have simpsons aspect ratio fixed, the avatar series coming to Netflix and all the studio ghibli movies coming to hbo max

Was gonna get HBO for a month Euphoria during quarantine but I guess I'll wait for HBO Max to watch Jodie's latest Doctor Who season?

Forgot to cancel Hulu so I was charged for another month. Which is fine, I guess; I still need to catch up on Better Things. But like, dang it, haha.

 

I started watching Jack Ryan and my god the writing is bad. So many stupid and ridiculous things.

 

I watched the first two episodes of Run and my god I have no idea what it is about and everyone seems like they suck. Really thought this would be an instant favorite due to the cast.

First 3 episodes of Defending Jacob are real good

 

I’m really liking Rectify. Almost done with season 2. Not sure why it’s taken me so long to watch this one.

 

So happy to see Rectify finally getting the attention it deserves. So much passion in that show.

 

This one was a huge disappointment since I like John K so much.. but man.. my wife and I saw that season two came out and avoided it. Not sure if it gets any better

 

Season 2 is just as bad if not worse. But yet I watched it all.

Jack Ryan reminds me of 24.

I loved 24 when I was younger but when you look back at it, it's just anti middle East programming for the most part.

 

Same. I was a huge fan of it and wrote most of the anti-Middle East stuff as “Americans and Russians are also bad in it!” But it was obvious who the target was and right-wingers running the show and having McCain make a cameo, I mean, come on.

 

Republican politicians cited the *fictional* TV show 24 to justify torture. I liked the show because I was like 13 and just liked watching Jack Bauer shoot his gun but it was a bad thing for the world

 

I just finished watching the entire season 1 today and wow the writing is just bad. So many dumb things. Despite that, I’m gonna watch season 2 cuz whatever and it’s still somewhat entertaining

 

Anyone watch After Life with Ricky Gervais? Just started season 2, forgot how good this show is.

 

I can't stand Ricky Gervais. He's a mean, transphobic man-child.

 

but he's so edgy!

 

I'll always love the OG "Office," but that's about where it ends. Stephen Merchant's distancing from him during the past decade looks better and better as time goes on.

 

heads up the new Mindy Kaling show Never Have I Ever is on Netflix now , Mindy doing a show about a horny Indian nerd is of course perfect

 

yeah Stephen Merchant is hilarious and charming and Ricky Gervais hasn't told a joke in 10 years, not even a funny joke I'm generally not sure if what he does constitutes as jokes
