The Incredible Jessica James is good, a romcom with Jessica Williams, Chris O'Dowd, Noel Wells and Lakeith Stanfeld is obviously my jam though

You know what Netflix needs? More Dragonball.

I'm watching the finale of the Office. I've never seen it before. I liked this show more than I remember.

Oh shit didn't realize Lakeith was in Jessica James, I love that guy. I just find him so oddly watchable in everything he's in. Was gonna check it out anyway but more excited now

Rumor right now is that Netflix is hemorrhaging cash

Not surprising. Insane amount of original content that I don't think has been getting many views from what I can see

  7. It's basically a clusterfuck when you consider how many shows they have now, it's impossible to keep up with all of them

And they've come out and said they don't expect their viewers to watch every show. More so to create so many shows that there's something for everyone. I think that's a horrible approach and leads to a lot of poorly executed ideas but coming back to bite them now.

I imagine they'll scale back significantly going forward

Reed seems super arrogant especially when he's talking about theaters

  10. I really love Netflix despite all this though. Still can't think of a better deal when you look at the amount of content for the price

I just signed up for Hulu and it is pretty fantastic for TV.

I'm 50/50 on preference. I love how much content is on Hulu, but Netflix originals are a lot more enjoyable.

Also, Netflix just lost The IT Crowd sooooo

I'd rather get more movies than half formed tv shows. Like my girlfriend and I are a few episodes into Friend From College. Would enjoy it more as a movie.

Netflix is better but it's really just personal preference. They both have a ton of good shows that the other doesn't have. Hulu is severely lacking on movies though in my experience.

I like that Hulu has more current shows but I hate the commercials. I think my dad has the limited commercials package but there's still a lot of them and sometimes it glitches and never loads when it's supposed to show a commercial. At least when I used it last. I kinda stopped for that reason so idk if it still does that. I guess I only watch Friends and Forensic Files on Netflix tho since they took off the first half of Rebelde.

I pay for Netflix (in 4k for my parents) and freeload for Amazon Prime and Hulu. Oh and HBO Go too.

Yeah the commercials on Hulu are annoying plus it's not really user friendly in terms of searching/ browsing but that can be an issue with Netflix too

If I'm gonna pay for a streaming service, commercials are a deal breaker for me.

There's a few UI things i like more about hulu than netflix. i like that it seperates my TV and movies queue. Also like that it shows how many unwatched episodes i have very clearly, though in some cases this seems to be broken. I also like being able to sort TV shows by network, which netflix doesn't offer.

Hulu having currently airing TV shows is the whole reason I pay for it. And if I'm gonna pay $8 for something, I might as well pay $12 for the no commercials plan.

I was excited about that for Rick and Morty but it looks like they won't have season 3 until it's done airing. :verysad:
