Finished No Good Deed. Extremely just fine. Started out promising but takes a long while to get moving and winds up with a pretty uninteresting finale. Could not really recommend

This article explains some of it. What I don't know is maybe the Golden Globes don't have eligibility rules like that? The article doesn't really say.

 

The Globes eligibility window is just the calendar year, and presumably voters had access to screeners of at least the first couple episodes. But also nominating something that they know will have a lot of hype right around the show date makes sense to juice the viewership.
