That first season is incredible, watched it earlier this year for the first time

 

I actually think season 5 and 6 are big step downs from 3 and 4 of Schitts Creek. Still enjoyable but fewer laughs and some weird storyline choices.

 

Yeah it is. It’s almost all one shot or maybe even all one shot so it feels like it never lets up.

 

Also the reaction meme of McConaughey smoking a cigarette is from that episode and I went full Leo pointing in the theater when that scene hit.

Squid Game season 2 was for the most part really great but the way the season ends was kind of odd. Felt less like a season finale and more like a penultimate episode.

 

None of this sounds appealing to me but I will probably watch it because of the Pittsburgh setting lol.

After decades of soapy Grey's Anatomy stuff and inspiration porn The Good Doctor stuff and like "detective show disguised as a medical show" stuff like House, I am happy to have real grimy realistic stripped down ER-like medical drama back. Especially after the pandemic I feel like that is kinda what that genre needs.
