I know it’s re-inventing cable, etc. etc. I still think it’s a good idea. Sometimes I just want to throw something on that’s playing and not think about it. Peacock has something similar, but even though half the channels appear to operate on a schedule, they still autoplay at the very start of the movie or episode when you click on them.

 

Ideally winning an Oscar should open doors, like wtf let her cook (or whatever it is the kids are saying these days)

 

I'm watching some doc called Ctr Alt Desire about this Florida Man who killed his parents and brother because he fell in love with a cam girl in Bulgaria and couldn't afford to pay her after spending upwards of 200k and his parents took away his internet privileges or something. 3 episodes, I just finished the first.

Wow. That's all I can say.

 

I saw the Paramount+ ad for that. Was thinking about checking that one out.

On s2 ep6 of the Crown and it’s so good

 

I had no idea about all these events surrounding the Royal Family around this time.

Duke of Windsor having Nazi affiliations and VISITING HITLER was wild. As was the Queen going to Ghana and dancing with the leader there to stop the Russians from helping build a dam.

 

Oh shit wait till you get to the learn about the Profumo Scandal near the end of the season.

 

I’m on the finale of Seinfeld and I think I’m finally gonna start 30 rock.

 

It’s good all the way through but they were way harsher of the Royal Family in the early seasons, which I appreciated

 

Unless there’s something else I have to watch?

ahead of its fourth and final season on Paramount+ in late May, a couple seasons of the show Evil are headed back to Netflix in the US at the end of the month. if y'all haven't checked this show out, it's one of the best out there. some of the most fun i've had watching a show in years. forever grateful for Natasha Lyonne and Rian Johnson

 

Natasha is like Walter Goggins and Shane Bernthal.... they're typecast in the same role every. single. time. And it's like they were born for said role.

Wife started watching Killing Eve. I was initially hooked because I love the Russian girl assassin character and it looked like a fun cat and mouse spy show....but ehh they lost on the last episode and I've lost interest in season 2 already.

And I read the show definition doesn't get any better so I gave up.

For a show like this to work both characters need to be amazing but im not fully into Sandra ohs character.

 

Killing Eve starts to lose its way pretty quickly without Phoebe Waller-Bridge writing and never really recovers. I still haven’t watched the final season.

 

I watched the first episode or 2 of the last season and it’s bad so I never finished it.

 

The whole final season is rough but I watched it all because the two leads are fantastic
