How did American Nightmare dude get into all these homes? Were people just not locking their doors? Also some of the shit he was doing was in broad daylight.

That's what terrified me the most about that whole doc (other than cops being worthless shitheads, but that's nothing new).

 

I remember reading about the btk killer and he would stalk people and just get in through unlocked doors. He said sliding doors were the most common to be unlocked (so now I always check my sliding doors haha). He would often not carry out the murder if the doors were all locked, although in one case he was so obsessed with the woman he broke a glass door with a brick to get in. Just creepy though thinking the difference between being tortured and killed and getting a good night’s sleep for his victims was remembering to lock your doors

Also I was wondering about the second kidnapper Denise and Aaron said there was but wasn't found. Muller had that blowup doll dressed up with a mask in his trunk, I am betting he used that to trick his victims into thinking it wasn't just him.

The first season rules but you can def tell the production value is lower, and they’re still finding their footing with the characters. The early seasons def FEEL like pre-9/11. There’s a subtle tonal shift post-9/11, as well. You could argue the whole show is consistently a reflection of the times, while still managing to remain timeless.

 

Gary Oldman may be good at playing pretend but he’s a piece of shit who beat his wife. Wish he wasn’t in that show because I do like it
