All my friends liked those movies in high school, then it took a sharp turn at age 18/19 when all my friends started watching Harmony Korine movies.

Boondock Saints is a truly wretched film. By far, one of the worst cult films to come from that time. The Troy Duffy doc that resulted from it was good though.

 

In 2003, I liked Garden State, mostly just for some of the music. I was also really into a movie called Happy Accidents.

I didn’t see Boondocks Saints until like 8 years ago when I saw a double feature of that and the first Leprechaun movie.

My friends liked V for Vendetta and Donnie Darko, but I didn’t get into those.

 

It’ll change your life, I swear

 

Only one of those movies is good.

I also went through a phase in college where I watched what I thought at the time were a bunch of mind-bending films. I still remember staying up late in my dorm watching stuff like Black Swan, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Naked Lunch on the sketchiest websites lol
