Late to the game but just watched Mare of Eastown. Great, great show, but holy shit this is hard to watch as a father.

 

Does that mean you finished it so you got to the final reveal with the kid? Watching the father struggle with the death of his daughter was hard enough, but then that reveal came and that scene of him running home to his mom and crying into her arms knowing it’s all over, oof.

 

The only thing I didnt like in the show was Kate saying "wooder" 100 times.

Watching the terminator for the first time

 

Terminator 2 is where it’s at.

Yup. T2 is a classic

 

T2 is arguably the best ever blockbuster film

The makeup/effects for the terminator's slowly morphing face each time it was injured were so brilliant that I was nerding out how good and timeless it looked so I was NOT prepared for the effects on the bare bones terminator lmao.

 

Bill Paxton is in both too

Jimmy Cameron is one of the directors that has his regulars he likes to work with.

 

Saw T2 in the theater when I was 8. Changed my life.

 

For me it was Jurassic Park and ID4 that were the two theatre experiences as a child that I will never forget.

My grandma taking me to see Gladiator in theatres when I was 11 is up there too
