Not up to Dark’s level, but Dark lite.

 

Finished Scavengers Reign finally. Wanted to savor it. Unbelievably good season of television—holy shit. Maybe the best new thing this year for me. I’ve said this before but it’s like a mix of Studio Ghibli and the movie Annihilation. Highly recommend to anyone into animation, great sci-fi, and just good tv.

 

Leave the World Behind on Netflix was good times for people who like thinking about realistic bad times. Get on it!

 

I could watch 10 seasons of the fauna just living life on their planet.

 

Hard same. I hope it’s renewed. Would also be cool to even see it take a different direction and focus on cultures or evolution or something. The level of immersion they’re going for is extremely my shit.

Definitely gotta watch Scavenger's Reign.

 

Watched The Lighthouse and X. Both were good but I think I enjoyed Lighthouse more.

 

I stopped Scavenger's Reign after 4 episodes, as I got just too weirded out by it, but glad most others still dig it a lot

 

Enjoyed the Monk movie.

 

That makes sense. There are some real creepy claustrophobic moments as well as bizarre psychological things throughout. I dug that personally but can see how it might challenge someone else
