I think the Cars franchise is much maligned because of being Pixar and coming out of the run it did. They’re a blast and never try to be anything more than a fun kids movie. Used to watch them when I’d watched my little cousins all the time. The second one, iirc, is quite funny.

 

Could be wrong but I think Cars 1 had one of the lowest box offices for Pixar at the time but it sold a TON of merch so of course sequels were made. Haven’t seen the sequels though

 

I believe A Bug’s Life actually made less, which is absurd

 

A Bug's Life is a true classic

My mom bought me a little statue thing of Heimlich and I had it displayed in my room for years as a kid

 

I remember cars 1 being pretty good, 2 being bad and then 3 being absolutely terrible

 

how most trilogies go

Incredibles 2 is very bad compared to the first

I loved Incredibles 2.

 

Understandable, most movies aren't worth watching

Incredibles 2 isn't as good as 1 because 1 is fantastic. but 2 is also good!
