why was the guy like “we need to let her know come on” and the guy was like “no, monies” and then the first guy just shot him and didn’t contact the pilot? Did I miss some dialogue?

 

New season of physical started up today

 

It’s only listed as the season finale on the app, which is why it seems like there could be more?

 

I could see a situation where we get a 2nd season. For one, one of the released bad guys, and his sidekick, escape/leave in their red car, and we don't see anything after that. So they're still on the loose. 2nd, like someone said, Sam gets off the plane, and we don't see him reunite with his ex or his son. Of course, they don't necessarily have to resolve these points, as the title of the show suggests this show/series is solely about the hijacking, so having a 2nd season that doesn't involve any hijacking would be pretty weird. I'd say its 90/10 right now to this show being a 1 and Done.

 

Enjoyed Hijacked for what it was, but I will say the Sam character was starting to get redundant and boring. He keeps flip flopping, causing issues, but still gets away with it all to the Hijackers. Also, speaking from a few weeks back, why was main dude not more interested in finding out out who or what killed his bro?

 

I guess cause they made their deal and he didn't care about the plane anymore? not really sure though

 

I would like to see the continuing adventures of business negotiator Sam Nelson playing 5D chess mindgames with bad guys, but it doesn't need to be about a Hijacking or be called Hijack.

 

Anyone checked out Happy Valley? Next on the list. Have to decide if I feel like signing up for Acorn.TV or just acquiring it the...other...way.

 

Happy Valley is pretty good but the ending suuuucks. was pretty mad I waited years for it lol

 

My assumption is that if this were to continue on for another season (or more) this would be the plot going forward.

 

Idk the catch or if it will change one day or of I'm a lamewad..... but I just discovered live TV on roku.

Its decent. Sometimes I just like having something running in the back as I do stuff in the house. Generic news, or generic animal or history show, game show channels, really awful B movie channel. It works and its free? This is questioning what I do for football season. I get YouTube TV every fall for sports but its now $80/mo. That's a lot! Maybe I can find something else?

I can’t help you with football, but I do like live TV too. I like just not having to choose something and coming in the middle of a movie or show with no reason to feel bad if I don’t finish it. The only problem now is commercials, especially on free apps like Pluto or Tubi, are super repetitive.

 

I wanted to attempt a rewatch of Battlestar just to see it is completely gone from Peacock now and is streaming nowhere. Wtf I though Universal had big plans to expand the Battlestar franchise.

 

Started watching Atlanta yesterday and fucking loving it. Just got to the Teddy Perkins episode. So uncomfortable lmao.

 

Paramount+'s rock history docs have been pretty bleh (the one about the legacy of the song American Pie was awful) but I will give this a shot

Don't watch reality tv, but it would be interesting if reality stars start going the way of the the WGA and SAG.

I’m really curious what stipulations they would want contractually going forward. Obviously “please stop shoving tequila down my throat” but I don’t see a world where reality tv producers agree to not manipulate footage

 

It isn't available for streaming anywhere right but I'd recommend people to find a way to watch UnReal, which was a underrated hidden gem of a series that had a 4 season run on Lifetime from 2015-2018.

One of the showrunners was a former producer of The Bachelor, and it's all about the abuse and manipulation that goes on behind the scenes in reality shows.

 

My wife watched this awhile back and she loved it
