War On Terror stuff in 2023 feels super passe and dated tbh. This is a very early-mid 2010's ass show.

 

Just watched the latest Puss in Boots movie. Loved it

I enjoyed Lioness. I get the complaints and reviews but I'm also a fan of Jack Reacher, The Terminal List, etc.

Has anyone heard a peep about Masters of the Air these days? The last concrete information I saw was a "late spring" release date, and it's been briefly featured in some promo clips. Really hoping it premieres this fall, but it's hard to feel confident about that.

 

Feels like they 100% based that Daryl Dixon show in France so they can have him say something in French to make the ladies swoon

 

I saw a report a few weeks ago that we could see it sometime in September

 

I dunno Apple TV+ has a long list of already completed limited series that are waiting for a release. There is that that one about the aftermath of Lincoln's assassination, Benjamin Franklin in France one, one about Huey P Newton's escape to Cuba, Jason Mamoa's Hawaiian unification war one all in post production right now. Plus a few others.

 

You clearly haven't watched The Out-Laws yet.

 

The Atom Eve special was really good, so I decided to rewatch Invincible. Everything with Mark and Omniman is great, JK Simmons is so good in the last episode. The rest, while enjoyable, kinda just feels like set up for future storylines. Which I'm obviously looking forward to.
