eh, this show sucks but Euphoria has its moments. the 2 specials especially were very good. taking it away from Levinson and giving it to someone else is something I'd be on board for though.

 

i think a lot of the praise of that show is conflating having two transcendent actors with it actually being a good show/well written

 

I enjoy Euphoria, it's a TV show that I like to watch, and I'm gonna watch it more!

 

I haven't watched The Idol but I would love to watch more Euphoria.

 

Hope both shows get canned, Levinson sucks

The best episode of Euphoria is coincidentally the one that has a co-writer. Imagine what it would be like with a whole writer’s room.

 

Is it just me or has Hulu kind of been ass lately?

 

I think Euphoria is going to be remembered like Girls. A show that received some acclaim and was culturally relevant for a time when it aired, but will be only be talked about 5 years after it ends in the context of people making fun of it's annoying showrunner.

 

I watch Euphoria kinda like why I watched original Gossip Girl: because it's pretty to watch and is entertaining. The styling of each character is fun and fantastical to watch but def not watching for any sort of realism or relatability of characters. I'm glad zendaya is doing well in her career but yeeeah Sam doesn't give off good vibes

 

The FX on Hulu stuff is pretty consistent.

Dave wrapped up recently. The Bear S2 starts next week. Justified is coming back next month.

The writing on Euphoria is atrocious but I like everything else about it. It did stink up the last season with the finale(s) though.

 

i think euphoria will have a higher rep for launching zendaya, it's not like girls really launched anyone. both shows pretty stinky though.

Euphoria is trauma porn. I mostly enjoyed the first season, but when I finished I had no desire to watch more. I have enough trauma and drama in my life and the show felt like making things more traumatic for it’s characters was it’s only aim. So, I’m good.
