Had a friend reach out to me tonight to tell me to check it out because she knows it’ll be rather pertinent to me so I guess I will. I watched the previous one that cane out last year and it sickens me to know there’s more than enough to make a second doc out of it.

 

Just watched; thought it was pretty fun, and the one-liners had me LOL'ing several times, haha

 

I went into it blind and don't know much background, so I do not know how much to buy into Carl Lentz's " I wanted Hillsong New York to be open and accepting to everyone, but it was my bosses in Australia that kept the church traditionalist, and I had to fall in line " excuse regarding Hillsong's stance on LGBTQ.

 

I wouldn’t buy in at all. The way all of his non answers were phrased tipped it for me. All of those exact things have been said to me before. Whether he believed it or not, he said Black Lives Matter during services and spoke about racism in interviews. He obviously failed in that regard, but I think if he wanted to support something he would’ve

 

haven't watched yet but the way American Hillsong tried to distance themselves and try to be like look we're a cool celebrity church and courting people like Lana, Justin and Selena was always very sus haha

 

I keep seeing scattered scenes on tiktok of the DCAMU so I decided to finally watch from the beginning (and maybe rewatch the Batman-related ones). Flashpoint Paradox is... okay, I guess? Everything looks great, and seeing the altered timeline is really interesting, it's just the story overall feels a little clunky. I can't say after watching this that I'm any more excited for Ezra's Flash movie, I'm still not even sure I want to see it in theaters since they've been such a jackass.

My android app is still HBO Max with no updates in the Play Store

 

I had to search Max and found it in the Apple Store.

Everything is pretty much the same lmao

 

Oh lmao they did the same thing for Android. Completely new app instead of just updating the old one. I'm happy it didn't make me log in again though

 

Makes sense that it's a new app. I'm not tech savy like that but I imagine they backend had to be something completely different. Does HBO Max say when it's not going to be supported

 

So if I'm an HBO subscriber (cable) and had HBO Max, do I have to do anything? My wife just sent me a photo of our TV saying 'Sorry, HBO Max isn't available in your region yet'

Weird, Max installed fine on my shield TV (android based), but my Chromecast with Google TV (also android) is throwing an error every time I try to install

 

I download the app on my phone and I was already logged in. I’ll have to check my tv out later.

Also apparently this and Euphoria are “in the same universe” and Alexa Demie is in the show as Maddy.
