For the big budget franchise films released on streaming the last few days. D&D >>>>> Ant Man & Wasp.

The kid in Hot Cheetos is awful in the George Lopez show. Like bad even for a sitcom.

Hopefully you get a bag of hot Cheetos with a ticket purchase

My wife and I both thought it was great. I think I laughed a little bit more at some of his other specials, but this one was really awesome and I loved the material he covered.

    Absolutely agree.

"Hey, what's Seth Meyers doing here?"

Died laughing at him reading his GQ interview at the end.

Gonna have to restart my Netflix sub for ITYSL in a week or so, stoked to catch the Mulaney special finally

White Men Can't Jump remake was pretty good was for what it was. The parts with Lance Reddick were sad.

Disney removing the majority of their original programming from Disney+ is troubling.

Yep. Queen Sorsha’s daughter, Kit - who is arguably the lead of the show - is in love with her best friend Jade. So that relationship was quite literally front and center.

Willow was fun if you didn’t think about it too hard and just jumped in for the ride. I’m still shocked there was a YA Disney+ show that had a queer storyline right off the bat from episode one so I’m definitely not surprised it’s getting wiped away. I am surprised there didn’t seem to be much bigoted outrage over it though

I think my feeling on that last sentence is, sadly, there just weren’t even enough people watching it in general to cause a ruckus or pay any mind to it, which is a genuine shame because I really thought the show got pretty good by the end. I’ve always personally felt that Willow as a property is a fairly niche interest as the original movie is…really fucking weird lol. Definitely way too dark for little kids looking to check out a fantasy adventure film and on the flip side a little too silly and childish for some adult audiences who view it that way. And the show basically leaned right into that, which I give them props for. They really didn’t try to dilute the property in any way in an attempt to make the series feel safer or less fucking weird. Pretty much just went with the tone of the original and expanded on it in some interesting ways that I’ll now presumably never see any payoff for.

    Sigh.

That's probably entirely accurate. It's just such a shame how diluted it's all become. Either your first season is an entire pilot or you don't get any time to cook and see where things go. It's hard to rationalize starting any television show right out of the gate anymore. Which then leads to cancellations and the cycle continues and we continue to talk about it on Chorus over and over again.

So painfully true. I’ve got a growing list at this point of one to two season shows I am still actively grieving lol.

    Everything Sucks
I Am Not Okay With This
    A League of Their Own
The Wilds - (well…I mean, yeah you know)
    Willow
    The Society
    The Get Down
    1899
    Grand Army
    High Fidelity
    Archive 81

    and…my beloved
    Paper Girls

    I will never forgive them.

Gotta give Teenage Bounty Hunters a shot. The season (I guess series) finale isn’t completely open so you don’t totally feel left hanging. Super funny and really charming cast. Also Method Man
