Yeah I was 2 episodes into beef and thought it was fine and then all that shit came out and I’m just not going to finish it.

I started watching The Last Ship on HBO Max. Kinda into it. The tone and format It feels almost like something like Star Trek, Stargate, Battlestar, ect but with a grounded post-apocalyptic setting instead of sci-fi

 

First ep of Dead Ringers was great. It's cold and unnerving like the movie but has its own energy. Rachel Weisz is excellent. Some of the content is pretty upsetting though, so tread lightly depending on your tolerance.

 

Agreed. Im like halfway through now and really liking it.

 

I saw like 20 minutes of the 2nd Independence Day and it has to be the laziest movie ever made

 

I remember almost nothing about it. It was bad.

 

I bet Disney is real pissed Fox made that before they took over, now they likely can't do anything with what was previously considered a valuable IP for probably a very long time if ever.

 

I bet they don’t care at all.

 

If Disney do another ID4 its probably going to be a prequel that totally ignores the sequel, and Emmerich will have nothing to do with it.

 

They would make another in a heartbeat if they thought it was valuable. Multiple reboots have shown the public easily forgets. But you’d have to get Will Smith back and I don’t know if his stock would be high enough to make them pull the trigger.

With that said, they shouldn’t do it because one is enough.

 

Jury Duty is pretty fun so far. James Marsden is a hilarious addition.

 

They could just act like it never happened. I don’t think there would be an anybody complaining. I’ve never seen it though

 

Almost done with seinfeld and puddy deserved his own show. Love Patrick Warburton. Except then I just googled him and it says he's a lifelong conservative so smh. Kronk would never.

 

Just finished the first two episodes of Fatal Attraction. This is way better than I was expecting it to be. I forgot how good Joshua Jackson can be.

There is a scene in this where Joshua Jackson a cocky middle aged lawyer with slicked back hair crashes a car while drunk and I thought "I am old enough to see Charlie grow up to become Gordon Bombay"

 

Ugh, I didn't know love and death was ANOTHER "Candy" show. We just watched the hulu version last year. Silly me I was like "huh, 70s/80s Texas murders are really in right now...oh...wait... ohhhh".

A ton of talent attached but nah. No need to do this again. I really liked Jessica Biels version too

I had so much fun with Jury Duty over the weekend. Perfect levels of ridiculousness and the whole cast was incredible. Really surprised with how funny Marsden was.

they found the perfect person in Ronald for Jury Duty

 

Jury Duty would never work on me because I recognized too many of the small bit character actors from other random shows lol
