I'm sure this argument was done to death in the harry potter thread. I'm not telling you to abstain from watching/consuming/enjoying harry potter media. I loved the books, I loved the movies, I love the theme park stuff.

what I'm saying is that you do not HAVE to say literally anything at all about this situation. you can enjoy what you want to enjoy without literally defending a bigot. you can just keep it to yourself.

What would make you think she wouldn’t be involved? She crowbarred herself into writing the “Fantastic Beasts” scripts, despite having no previous screenwriting experience. Even though those flopped, she’s shown time and again to double down, rather than self reflect. I would be shocked if everything involved with this doesn’t have to run by her first.

 

i guess i'll keep it because it's the easiest way to watch the sopranos but that's really it.

really thinking about it now...

- My wife and I pay for Hulu
- I pay monthly for Spotify, Chorus, and a low tier of a Patreon account
- We use my wife's friend's mom's Netflix account
- We use my friend's HBO Max account when he decides to pay for it for a month so he can binge something (which is rare)
- I pay yearly for a VPN

I'm pretty sure that's the only stuff we use/pay for monthly.

When there's stuff on other streaming services or whatever that we want to watch, I sail the high seas and put it on my Plex server.

 

- I use my friend’s netflix account which is now blocked except for on my ipad for some reason
- I use another friend’s prime account
- I use another friend’s disney account
- I use yet another friend’s crave account which is some dumb canadian bullshit but has hbo baked in

I am too powerful and simply built different

Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ bundle (even though I've used the ESPN portion like, 4 times ever)

have subscribed to peacock occasionally. I wish streaming tv was cheaper because I would like to have it for sports

oh and I've got a friend's prime, netflix & plex

 

Currently paying for Hulu/Spotify bundle, Paramount +, Disney +, and Crunchyroll. I drop disney whenever the show I'm watching ends so I only pay for it a few months a year.

Mooching off my parents for Netflix, HBO Max, Apple +, and Amazon Prime.

 

Did Paramount+ get rid of monthly plans? When I try to update my plan through my account settings, it only gives me yearly options

 

hbo max, peacock, shudder, youtube premium. i think that's it. i was paying for youtube tv but they raised the price to like 80 a month and i nope'd out of that.
