I am seeing My Chemical Romance today!

 

In the car on the way up to MK – sun’s shining, blaring Na Na Na and it feels so good. I can’t believe this day has finally come

 

After hearing that Summertime is about Gerard’s wedding day….how could anyone not like that song?!

Had no idea what it was about until watching a recent live video.

 

Really want them to bring back The End/Dead into the setlist!!!!

 

Looks like they played Bulletproof Heart tonight!!

 

Still trying to sell my ticket for their 5/24 RHK show in Dublin since there’s no way I’m making it from NYC (bought my ticket before the pandemic when I had a cushy office job)! Willing to negotiate as I’d hate for the ticket to go to waste.

 

I was able to get a refund for my ticket to one of the MK shows. Very sad but a trip to the UK isn’t in the cards for me this year :(

Oh I’m glad you were able to at least get a refund! Did you contact Ticketmaster about not being able to travel?

 

Yeah I think they’re pretty liberal with refunds since the shows were postponed twice cuz of COVID lol

Last night was somehow less chaotic but also way more chaotic than Thursday. They removed the “front pit” barrier and it was one whole GA floor so the crowd was way more wild and a lot more swaying and shoving. The band felt a lot more loose and just having a good time, I’m sure after the nerves of headlining a stadium subsided after Thursday.

They played Bulletproof Heart, one of my top 3 MCR songs, for the first time since 2011. That was so special to me!! Otherwise nothing too crazy with the setlist but a few other rotations. Hoping tonight will have some really crazy surprises!

My body is broken. I am way too old for:
a) three openers
b) standing on metal flooring for 7 hours
c) UK pits
d) three stadium shows in four days

Hahahahahaha

 

I feel like crocs would be a good move to go with as we grow up and aren't into standing for so long at concerts like that

 

As sad as I am that I got Lost Alone instead of Frank Turner, I'm very glad I only had one opener.

 

Last night was unbelievable honestly. We had a really good and mixed setlist and the band were just having so much fun. Can’t wait to see them again.

 

Going to see them in Glasgow. Not going to lie was really hoping for some decent supports but looks like just Starcrawler for that date. Does seem a bit like we have been short-changed compared to some getting Placebo or Frank Turner.

 

Looks like they soundchecked To the End and Tomorrow’s Money today so those two songs could be played soon! And they played Cancer today!

 

never knew about bulletproof heart /trans am's backstory. interesting stuff.

 

I really just saw MCR play three stadium shows. Absolutely insane. These guys are having so much fun, I'm so happy right now.

 

Listening to Danger Days for the first time in ages and realized the refrain of this song totally sounds a ton like Bulletproof Heart lol (MCR song came first)

 

To The End is underrated

 

I used to have this fan-made To The End music video in my MySpace profile in 2005, which I remember had zombies in it, but it seems to have been scrubbed from the internet. I thought it was the official video for so long. Would love to find that again someday, haha.

 

I think they haven’t played To the End since the Revenge tour. Whoa!
