Yes. They are currently on tour in the U.S. and have a new album coming out sometime next year.

Look, I'm not a simple plan fan but y'all should try not being massive assholes every once in a while.

 

Yeah. Chances are, if you were a big MCR fan growing up, you were picked on by bullies at some point in your life. So it seems weird to make fun of people in these forums, but it happens a lot. I don't necessarily think it was as bad in here as in other situations since it was making fun of a band more than the poster, though, but yeesh.

I could care less if people sitting behind their keyboards attack me here. Does nothing to me. I was just a bit shocked at the harshness of some of the responses. Maybe one of those situations to just say nothing at all if you don't like it? I doubt my original invite to join the bracket was offensive to anyone.

 

If you think anything that I said was an attack maybe you should stay off the internet

Don't post about a band in another band's thread and expect people to not express their thoughts on said band.

See, the thing about chorus dot fm is that it is populated and frequented ~90% by white men, expecting them not to be assholes (especially when they feel superior to you in taste or opinion or, god forbid, morality) is unfortunately unrealistic and futile.

The thing is, no one was even being an asshole. This thread was shitting on Waterparks a few weeks ago(rightfully so) and no one said anything. Suddenly when people say they don't like a band that someone else likes it's bad though

It wasn't about the band. It was about a bracket invite. That's it.

 

Ok? No offense but I don't remember being invited to join a Silverstein bracket in the Menzingers thread, because people don't normally do that

 

Y’all could have just as easily ignored dude’s post, but you’d rather go off about how weird and annoying it was, or how much you hate the band which, y’all have every right to do, but please try and understand that it comes off just as eye-rollingly obnoxious (if not more so, bc it keeps the thread off-topic with negativity) to certain posters (me! one of the few non-men left on this site).
