This is exactly the vibe I was hoping for. Amazing.

 

I’m pretty sure half of Twitter thinks that the animated film was an original Disney story because they are headstrong that this isn’t a good adaptation without the wise-cracking lizard.

 

Legitimately got chills watching this. Mulan is a top 3 Disney animation film of all time for me, so I was eagerly anticipating footage from this. It looks like they're really going to do both the animated movie and the original story justice here. I'm all freakin' about everything in this trailer. Need to see this now.

 

Hopefully the trailer runs before Lion King. Love to see it on the big screen.

What are the chances of this being PG-13?

 

I'd say pretty good. Going to be hard to have realistic-looking war scenes and not get PG-13, regardless of how bloodless they are.

 

Got a little chill watching this. I’m so excited.

 

Looks great, and I’m glad there doesn’t appear to be any white washing.

 

Looks dope. So glad it doesn't really feel a bad cosplay of a great animated film, like most of these, but rather like its own different thing.

 

That’s honestly one of the main reasons I’m stoked. Not having to stay in the limitations of the animated film allows this film to have much more potential as a stand alone.
