    I was right. Prestigious

I stopped keeping up with season 2 around halfway through so I spent today finishing it. I'm still really confused about that little girl who interviewed Angela.

    A DILAPIDATED BOAT! Prestigious

I think it was part homage to the weirdness of David Lynch, part Angela being metaphorically confronted by her childhood reflection, part Dark Army trying to manipulate and "break" Angela, and part implication that the Dark Army is involved in child trafficking.

The Red Wheelbarrow book came out yesterday; just ordered it today.

Someone on Reddit posted the first page and (potential spoilers for the future of the show)
It's written by Hot Carla (from prison) and she's saying that the journal has "new meaning" now that "we all know the name Elliot Alderson". Implying that the book is written after the show and Elliot is well known

I just got my copy of the book in today, and while I haven't read it, it's so fucking cool.

*not spoilers for plot, just for some neat things done in the book presentation
It has like, ripped up sheets of paper and really does look like a journal. There's a newspaper clipping or two and even a card Darlene sent to Elliot in prison. There's an envelope that is actually post marked and everything that is Elliot's "bookmark" and is an ECorp bank envelope. There's also a pamphlet from the prayer group Elliot went to
And, just for some time frame here:

The first entry is May 15th and the last is the night of June 30th

Yea... I'm kind of indifferent on this. I love Malek on this show but can't imagine him portraying such a charismatic frontman. And since the surviving members of Queen have a stake in the film, they're going for a more clean-cut portrayal.

    Anyone else read Red Wheelbarrow?

I read half of it, thought it was super boring. And didn't really feel like Elliot's voice. The presentation is really cool though

That's how I felt too. Didn't really enhance the show experience at all. Curious to see if there is anything I missed when reading.

So I finished Season 1 of this show the other day. I don't even know if I liked it. There were parts that I really liked (Elliot scaring off his psychiatrists dates and the more grounded stuff) but I don't know if I'll bother continuing this show

I'd say if you were left unsure after the first season, then you're probably not going to like the direction the show takes in the second season.

That's a shame, I've read a lot of similar opinions online.

Hopefully I like this show more on a rewatch or something

One of roommates is watching season 1 right now and the other is re-watching 2. I watch episodes with them sometimes and it made me realize how much better the show is the second time around. Currently my favorite show ever as of right now

This show is getting forgotten and shafted in a lot of end of the year lists.

Last year it won Best Drama at Golden Globes. This year it wasn't even nominated.

That makes me nervous. The ratings are shit, but figured USA would keep it for the prestige alone.

Yeah, not even in the top 30 on AV Club which I thought was insane. I don't think s2 is THAT much of a drop in quality.

I think Season 2 is better, especially towards the end

I thought S2 was great other them focusing on Elliot's mental struggle in prison for as long as they did. Final two episodes are especially good.

S2 had some of the best shot, intense moments I've seen in a long time. I think it's on par if not better than season 1

I agree, I preferred s2. But I think the consensus around it was that it was too structured around a lame reveal and tested people's patience a bit too much.

I still think the Alf episode was one of the best things I saw all year.

The Alf episode was great. I really liked Dom's story-line. The reveal to Darlene at the end was incredible
